Looks tidy in there colours

You wont break me :smiling_imp: :smiling_imp: :smiling_imp:

Had a look inside Conway Bailey’s new 13 reg at Cornwall show on Saturday and the dash looked very cheap and nasty certainly not what you would expect from a Volvo. The salesman hurriedly locked the door after I shut it and I said I thought I hadn’t shut it properly as it looked ajar but it was flush at top but lower door panel/step cover was ■■■■ poor aligned making it look that way. He said “ah it’s not been P.D.I. yet” still who needs a door than lines up properly eh a minor detail eh Volvo.

If they had more storage and the grill was painted like Dixon I would have one, I drove a FH16 700 for a few weeks, I tho the seats was comfy, dash was nice couldn’t put a bad point to it other then more locker space

The black grille suits RB’s colours.

Got to admit these are growing on me. Seen a few Reed Bordall and Maritime ones and they look great.

Are frilly curtains a factory fit on the option list?

New Volvo FH gets the polishing treatment at the Thirsk Truck Gathering, last weekend.

Cheers, cattle wagon man.

New FH for Reed Boardall.

I’ve just literally seen that pulling out of Cobham services :sunglasses:

So, check this out, when the indicator goes on, it temporarily disables the daytime running LED on that side so your attention isn’t distracted away from the indicator.

Pure genius from the Swedes.

The German cars have been doing that since 07 + ?

Robert Burns has just taken delivery of seven

And I thought there was no money in haulage
We should all be running round in 20 year old fl s

What is the earliest reg. as I saw a 62 plate one yesterday. I just thought they were all 13 plates cheers Darren

According to Volvo thamselves, this on

truckingtopics.co.uk/andersonnewfh.html

was the first in service in the UK.

But as to which was the first…you get trucks imported for use in dealer training, demonstrations and shows etc, so difficult to tell.

The burns isn’t a haulier, he runs a cold store, so he’s minted anyway.

First time I’ve noticed the indicator thing on anything.

Brian Yeardley, are using 2 LHDs models to test on fuel against there Daf xf105s, cheers Alan.

Most drivers I’ve talked to about the new FH aren’t too keen on the electronic handbrake for some reason, any reason why this is?

Cheers

Probably the same reason I’m against them in cars. I really dislike the idea that the electrics are holding it in place. At least with a cable and ratchet your physically pulling the brakes on and holding them.

Really?? I’ve been in their yard loads of times and he has more than a few trucks on the road.Granted they have a cold store but not to class them as a haulage firm is IMO slightly wrong.
