Denis F is right, this is a Cornmarket app with some news content and support from Truck & Driver. I’ve been involved with it from the T&D side and it’s been really useful reading your comments on the app. I can always rely on TruckNet for an honest opinion!
Just picking up on what damoq said, this is a new app and it will get updated and improved as time goes on. It was only launched last month and has already had one update since then. I know there’s another update planned very soon which will make the registration process a bit more friendly (something a lot of people here have commented on).
As it’s a free app, we were just keen to get it live as soon as possible and then base any changes on real users’ thoughts and opinions. That seemed a better way of doing it than spending ages building something technically perfect but not actually useful…
If you have any ideas for the app, I’d be keen to hear them. I can’t promise they will all be included, but I will make sure the app developers see them at least. And Rikki, when you go to Paris, could you do me a favour and bring me back a cochon volant?

yeah get shot of the sending of spam e mails …I’d rather have a sml ad running at the bottom of the screen than giving my life story to some insurance company … but hay ho
