As regards the T cab every time I see the ‘current’ one I think Reliant Robin, much preferred the original with ‘proper’ front wings! Likewise I think the Volvo N10/12 was the dogs b_______s.

Talking of prices, I’ve seen the original 700 series Hinos that were sold for about £70k new, now fetching prices of less than £20k. They must be the ones put together with stronger glue.
I’ve driven a 32T Hino and it was as nasty as any other Japanese wagon, with the usual flimsy gearshift (despite the 16 speeds).
