Buckleys (containers from Oldham) have some new shape Daf CF’s
Passed a new 14reg SSC broken down on the M74 at Uddingston earlier. Although to be fair, it was right at the bit where you have the sewage works on one side and the landfill on the other. Perhaps the stench clogged up the NOX sensors and shut the engine down. :lol::lol:
I saw a new LF today. Looked quite nice but the front silver badge thing looked mahoosive.
Wouldn’t thank you for a CF until they put a decent sized piece of glass in the doors. Most ridiculous idea ever. Bugs the life out of me

The latest version of the DAF has been on sale for a little while now, and the latest registration (14 reg) has also come, yet even in the dealerships, i still don’t see many.
I have seen 1 with Cranleigh Freight Services and 1 LF in Adams Morey DAF in Portsmouth. Is there a problem with the new model? I’ve seen loads of the new Mercs and Volvos, but still no DAFs…
Looks just like the old one but with a new grill !!! , must admit though I do like Dafs .
Matthews Flour have one CF coming on Monday and another in 2 weeks.

A thowback to their Leyland Heritage? The Ergomatics had quarterlights, but they opened. At least Daf windows go right down-unlike Scania P cabs.

New bumpers are galvanized. Got a few stone chips in mine but they’re not rusting
