Ha Ha… It is always my fault, what ever goes wrong !!!
Even though I am 33 and I have been doing this for over 10 years, my Dad couldn’t possibly sack me as he is too scared of my mum !!

I can live with that.
It’s all your fault
That was good I enjoyed that. Also nice to see how much she liked my part of the world. I adore Norway, only done it a couple of times in a truck, would love to do more.
Hey Greg, you tell Donna that was one of the best I have read on here (and I thought mine used to be good). Was fascinating to see a diary from a ‘non driver’ with thier slightly different views and I enjoyed every line of it. You’re a lucky man to have a partner who appreciates what you do for a living etc.
Just read through the blog on the laptop, really good read and very well written. I think you should take her with you more often. Tell her thanks for posting.
Great read and photos.
Cheers for posting.

Bear doffs his cap!!! I had to let you in so as to ■■■■ off the ‘shell suits’ the other side of me Shame the trailer didn’t look as smart as the beastie you was driving lolol
It’s like a dan brown novel trying to clock a look at your Missus, the da vinci code. You have to look within the Mirror for the reflection! Looks bang tidy though. I’ll read the blog in a bit when I get 5.
Donna should send the blog to the local paper. You will be surprised how many readers write in to comment on how they enjoyed reading it.
It will dispel the myths of the image of drivers and their work so like a P R exercise.
Stobbies are at it all the time.
I read it over 2 days, very enjoyable!
Not like work is it really that Euro lark just a flippin’ all expenses paid holiday! (tic) I suppose the only thing that might knock it for me is running unsocial hours if needed but I suppose you get used to that, the load is king and all that.
You should defo send it in to truck & driver, commercial motor or trucking. Maybe the local paper would print it as well.
I tried to comment on the last entry, dunno if it worked or not though. Thanks for the effort.
Oh & I did read it backwards,
I read this blog from start to finish on a rainy Saturday night couple of weeks back - took several hours to read it and stopped me from my half formed plan of going drinking beer in Blackpool which I no longer enjoy as I did in my 20’s and 30’s.
A pleasure to read something so well written, the writer obviously having an excellent command of the English language and its grammar and not without some humour.
Even notes of explanation where industry vernacular comes in. i.e. referring to a ship as a boat.
Scenery was terrific, I’ve always wanted to see Norway.
Ran up to Trondhiem earlier this year , took some pics on my phone which I’ll attempt to post later . Awesome country to drive but I can imagine it being a bit more challenging in the winter !!
Brilliant! Fabulous reading, well done to your Misses.
Any more like this?
Well worth a read… However I don’t think it would have been as inspiring had I sent you to Rungis back to back that week… lol
cracking read that was me in warwick services on tuesday night
