Great Diary Bear. I really enjoyed the read. I’ll agree about all the british stuff in the shops on the Algarve. I was over there last year and noted the fridge full of Peters Cornish Pasties and Meat Pies in one supermercado.
Like your story about the spanish bulls as well. I was in Spain a few years ago and we were taking photos of spanish trains. Two of our party went into an empty field to get a better photo. What they didn’t realise that there was a sneaky underpass which led intio the field and it soon contained about 20 large size spanish bulls. Perhaps that photo wasn’t such a good idea after all but they got out OK.
