Also, I saw a Magnum in Betz livery on Portugese plates in Spain a couple of years back, i know they had some Premiums too, IIRC it was a lo-rider with a mega trailer.

I don’t understand how you can get excited over willi betz. after all if it wasn’t for them and other large eastern europeans with poorly paid drivers and under cutting rates we wouldn’t have so many members on here looking for work. betz and their like are bad news for haulage industry. 
PS Austrian merc is not Black Edition cos only available with 612hp engine

Well… yes good question, I know Willi Betz company are not popular in European Haulage industry. In Fact Willi Betz are biggest Haulage - Spedition firm in the european. They got over four thousand trucks - lots of nationally truck - include willi betz english truck plates and english drivers. I am not lorry driver myself but want to be lorry driver in one day. I am just Willi Betz spotter & collections on photos and trucks models. Everybody have different own taste for hobby - Eddie Stobart spotter or Irish Scania topline trucks spotter.

well said! i used to be an eddie spotter! each to there own. now i prefer the tour trucks!
hopefully you will become trucker one day but the way the industry is going don’t hold your breath. not knocking anybody as a spotter no probs with eddie spotters train spotters or plane spotters just think that picking betz as your hobby bit bad considering way they treat drivers and competitors shown by the fact that they have plenty legal probs in germany. thankfully rico transport went through enabling many other companies chance to get work but if betz keeps going one day we’ll all be sharing small cab actros with smelly bulgarian in a tracksuit with flipflops and socks and using lidl vouchers instead of decent wages

whatever his reasons for spotting betz in particular it is hardly his fault how
the transport industry has gone. spotting betz trucks has seemed to be
a great way to put his problems to one side and a lot of drivers seem to enjoy
helping him out with photos.on another thread ben has posted of how he has hitched
across europe,i think he impressed every regular on here,and how many eastern euro
drivers gave him lifts,food and drink. if you like what about posting some betz from
spain/portugal for him and keep the rants for the politicians.
