Most ‘customers’ don’t need posts approved so for the vast majority of Trucknets ‘customers’ it works just fine. It’s your own fault you’re on premod

I keep seeing mention of “pre-mod”.
What does this mean?If someone is on pre-mod their posts do not appear on the board as soon as they post them. They are hidden until a Moderator or Admin gets round to reading and checking the post is within the rules of the forum and approves it, or sometimes doesn’t approve it in which case it will never appear.
People can be put on pre-mod for various reasons, although the underlying reason is more often than not the fact they are a Grade A ■■■.
I resent that remark, just because we have a different view from the ■■■■ ups on here doesn’t mean we are ■■■■, grade a or otherwise.
I am on premod, and I have met you Neil and work with another moderator, you didn’t think I was a ■■■, and the other mod and myself have regular conversations and he certainly never tells me I am a ■■■.
If anything it’s the admin that is so far up there own arses thinking this is some kind of haulage eutopia where drivers don’t have opinions.
Sorry to disappoint you Okey-Didley-Dokely, but I don’t think anything of the sort and I don’t presume to know how/what you’re thinking either.
IMHO, Everybody is entitled to their view/opinion, but there are those who seem to think that they can just post whatever they like on TN, but that’s the bit where they’ve got it WRONG.
No matter how much you dress up your posts as TN stifling your opinions, the inescapable truth here is that are forum rules, which everybody (including you) has already agreed to.
There are posters who can’t/won’t keep to their side of the agreement that they’ve entered into with TN, and those are the ones who end up on pre-mod if they break that agreement.
That’s factual truth, so you can take it or leave it as you wish, but it is inescapable.
As far as I can tell, the vast majority of posters don’t seem to have any difficulty posting within the TN forum rules, which is great, but it’s only a minority who choose otherwise. That’s life, so be it.

I feel your pain mate. I absolutely detest that ■■■■ Jeremy Kyle. I’ve lost count at the number of times I’ve nearly thrown something at the telly when watching him and his specimens on tv! It got to the stage where it was threatening my sanity when I suddenly had my eureka moment! It came to me in a flash of inspiration; I simply stopped watching him. It was easy and all my pain disappeared in one fell swoop. Can you guess where I’m going with this?..

That is probably because the mods realise that the vast majority DON’T ■■■■■■■ CARE WHAT YOU THINK!
Also, I have found in my 30+ years experience of trying to get on with people who have SOME measure of power over me, that they tend to NOT appreciate being called, what was it again? Oh yes “fascist power hungry wanabe dictators”! Just sayin’…
