Not bitchy, think its a fair comment myself. Must say ,only been a member for a year, i think the modding on this particular forum leaves alot to be desired

Wondered who mods the mods when there is one that is very good on driver’s regs and humourus accounts but uses inflammatry language and vitriolic abuse when it comes to the police and the difficult job they face.

But yes, it has been noticed a certain serial poster since changing jobs to nights recently has placed the occasional rather controversial comment here and there.

And why not? Coffeholic freely admits he doesn’t moderate very much nowadays and just answers the tachograph and drivers hours posts correctly and succinctly. I think he only ever did moderate one forum, the rest of the time he is a member just like me and you. The forum would be a much poorer place without him or his photographic memory of the regulations.
I don’t go to church, in fact I think churchgoers have a slate loose if they are willing to be led by some old folklore that has been translated so many times, it has left any semblance of reason or truth in the dark ages. The Catholic church is full of paedophiles who prefer small boys and unprotected ■■■
I don’t particularly like the police. I certainly don’t trust them as they lie and cheat when there arse is on the line, how many times have we seen it? Closing ranks and acting the big man when they have a night stick and a radio.
Here’s my two cents worth, I’m working to euros.
I think we’re grown up enough to realise when he’s making a post in a personal capacity and one as a mod. Surely a moderator is allowed his/her own opinion and should be allowed to air it, whether you agree with it or not. He’s a very valuable forum member who has helped me and many others with legal questions.
Secondly I often see comments that a thread about mods will be removed. I don’t see that here, there are several threads questioning mods judgement on the first page of the feedback forum alone. One made by me, which resulted in apologies from more than one moderator and a promise to act on my comments. And so far even though it’s a recent thread they have kept those promises and been very helpful.
This may be seen as a bit of a ■■■■ up to the mods thread but its just how I see it. I’ve looked at other drivers forums but this one is far and away the best in my opinion.

If any body is qualified to make a statement about Neil it’s me . I can honestly say that his opinions on the police are not confined to this forum !
He has a real dislike to them . He will often flip the police the bird whether there driving past or standing on a street corner .
Neil is … ( hope he don’t mind me saying) sometimes a bit complicated and his major psychotic hatreds at times embarrasses me .
You may have noticed his last post and I mean last post a couple of days ago. He like me are getting a bit fed up with the same old crap being dragged up time after time .
I am with Neil at the moment and I was trying to read him the comments on this thread but after a sudden and quick stop on the hard shoulder and the threat of me walking home I have decided to shut up !
All that I am putting on here is not BS. Neil has really had enough .
I am not expecting coffee to go 2 to be released any time soon .

Talking of religion, found a ‘new one’ to me on Tuesday, Brethren or something like that. No media of any kind, (radios gone in all their vehicles,) allowed so I had a long dull drive from Ipswich to Enfield, “never again” I told the Agency.

I agree and have said before that the moderation on these forums leaves something to be desired, but that’s as much to do with the moderation policy/system as the moderators themselves, but I agree that the rules are or should be for all members not just some if that’s what’s being said.
Having said that as far as I’m aware calling the police scum isn’t against the rules and is most certainly a sentiment that on the whole I would agree with
When you see the police standing watching rioters destroying peoples property and not trying to stop it happening emotions are bound to run a little high.
I’ve no idea where religion came into the discussion but if being an atheist and saying so is against the rules many of us should be banned

I didn’t say the rules had been broken, in fact I made a point of saying that I hadn’t followed the thread so had no idea what had been said, the OP seemed to be suggesting that the rules had been broken and I was merely agreeing that the rules should be abided by, by everyone including the mods.

Remember that all the mod on here work they do this voluntarily they also have lives
It may not be to all how the forum is moded but it is the way as we dont always agree with one another all the time
I again did not read the thread as had no real interest in it
As has been said Coffeeholic is a very useful member ( he has helped me in the past ) & I know he has had a hard year or so ( yep he did say but is up to him to tell if he wants )
