Mobile speed camera operators

Ooooorrrrrrrrrrrr we could just obey the speed limit and thus remove the requirement to have silly arguments with people about filming and remove the need to go to court for flashing others, too easy■■? Ok, as you were.

Yes, I saw this film on Facebook. All 4 people involved were total idiots…well, as much as I hate to say it, the guy in the van maybe reacted as most people would if a camera was poked in their face.

That police woman really needed a kick up the backside. How old was she? She looked about 65, and nobody has the right to be that ugly. I hope her unprofessional attitude is brought to her bosses attention. She needs a good sacking for the way she behaved…Well, when I say sacking I mean of course suspension on full pay for 18 months pending a hearing then early retirement on full pension.

Is the story true that someone noted the number plate on one of these North Wales police speed camera vehicles, had a set of plates made up then bombed past the camera vehicle a few times so they could catch themselves speeding? Or is that another urban myth?

Or the story from Ireland where they set fire to the 1st van out on the road.

I do like a good old police bashing thread!!

copper said off you go.
John

haha, good response

Well I don’t know how I managed it but I sat through all 12mins and 8seconds of that crap and don’t know why the bloke in the van didn’t jump out and flatten him. As for the silly cow dressed as a copper, well… :unamused: :unamused:

I lived in Donegal at the time…saw the parking area, saw the melted tar. I never saw the van on fire, but they didn’t do it to burn the driver, they did it for the craic, watching the driver bailing out was a bonus…plus the story came from the garda mouth whilst in the middle of a good lock in just after it.all good clean fun in Donegal…before they tried the van, then the guard would park facing the wrong way in the jeep, blue lights flashing, every light on,( in Donegal this means at least 1 headlight wont work, plus definitely a couple of sidelights out…the hazards may or may not work, and that’s on the cop car  ) open the door wide, and stand against the door with the gun hanging over the top,and be nice enough to return your wave as you hammered past…its still 1965 up there… really nice and refreshing.
