These were taken in the late 50s early 60’s of alterations to the Headmaster’s house at Alleynes Grammar School Uttoxeter.The job being done by the Staffordshire County Council.Note the J2 on the right hand side.It’s a wonder they got there from Stafford
A company just down the road from me still use an Iron Fairy. In the 60’s they fitted BMC diesels in them, the dealer I worked for used to do warranty work on them at Compton where they were made. I remember hoards of them bouncing around the Black Country roads when we were running in that area, I reckon that every factory must have had one!
