Does that mean you’re a “back door man” too?!

midlifetrucker:
Take a good book

Job got called off, thankfully.

Since I started delivering in to supermarkets about 2 months ago, I have decided not to shop at any Tesco store under any circumstances. The best thing that could possibly happen to Tesco is that it should fail, and be broken up.

+1. In fact the list of places I will shop seems to be shrinking daily, the latest being Morrisons after their disgusting treatment of the old boy collecting for the poppy appeal. :imp:

That’s just a misunderstanding that got blown out of control last year, and as soon what actually happened became clear the media rants slowed down.

THEY said it got blown out of proportion after THEIR store manager behaved disgustingly with both his comments and his actions. Back-pedalling by Morrisons does not and will not alter the fact that a person trained by them to their standards behaved in such a way, so I’m still out I’m afraid.

Do you mean like Julian Clary ? but he can be quite comical

That’s what I thought when I read ‘Back door men’…

robroy:
That miserable sour faced ■■■■■ at Livingston, Aldi or Lidl, can’t remember which.
The mardy old bird at Bookers/Iceland Livingston.
Maybe they’re related who knows.

It’ll be Aldi… Big bruiser of a bird she is, wouldn’t want to take a broken paycheck back to her! She seems to have marvelous norks though and I wouldn’t mind tipping in her back door. I’m a risk taker, what can I say.

Not had much bother with rude chuggers to be honest. I’ll give everyone the benefit of the doubt and an ‘Alright mate’. Being ignored grips my jobby though, ignorant twunts.

A.

To give you the heads up and correct information regarding this…

Original (younger) poppy seller turned up store and was offered a position inside the store near the checkouts to set up.

Seller said no thanks, he preferred to set up outside due to the higher footfall.

Part through the day, the 89yo gent replaced the seller and continued in the same place, Morrisons staff didn’t know about the change in seller.

The manager said about wearing a warm coat as he was under the impression that it was the other younger gent who wanted, and chose, to be placed outside.

As soon as the manager found out it was the 89yo gent outside, he was immediately moved to a warmer location inside.
