The cyclist however is typical of the new breed of helmet cam wearing road Nazis.Wouldnt say that, Driving a wagon you see these urchins in cars with zero roadsense and ability to see, On a bike there is less of you to see and can be a godsend if something does happen.
I am in dispute with a Coach firm where the coach put me into the kerb, later down the road when I caught the coach up at some lights (and I was blowing out of my ■■■ after giving it big legs on my Wiggo Wheels) the coach driver politly informed me ‘You cyclist [zb] are a nuisance that deserve to be kerbed, if it was that bad you wouldnt have caught me up’.
So, am I a camera ■■■■ or am I saving my own arse?
I wouldn’t say that either. On my way back from an off-road ride last Friday, on a cycle path alongside a s/c 50mph road through sandhills, some see-you-next-tuesday threw an egg at me from an oncoming car - hit me on the wrist, drawing blood, splattered all over me. Now, he’s doing maybe 50, I’ve got the wind behind me doing maybe 20 - that’s a 70mph egg!! It hurt. And everything in the wash when I got back. No cctv, no idea that was going to happen, not quick enough to catch reg no (behind me). OH HOW I WISH I HAD A HELMET CAM.
Some of you will find that hilarious but:
Grade One Nobs are out there and they drive cars, they drive lorries, they ride bikes and they walk around too.
If only I could park ny bike in Michaela!!

Just for balance, I was waiting at a busy pelican crossing today. A Grade One Nob on a bike comes up the inside, weaves through a throng of crossing pedestrians, turns immediately left without notice, just missing a little old lady. All this with headphones on, no helmet.

Agree. Made no attempt to avoid a collision. Good drivers/riders constantly look out for and make allowances for the mistakes of other road users. Maybe this guy has never passed his driving test. There’s a growing number of young males not learning to drive due to cost issues.

One of these idiots with the hemet cam and microphone almost knocked me over the other day as he rode his bike along the footpath. Typical mentality of the more militant of them it seems, they can do as they wish with no regard for the law but woe betide the person who might upset them!
