The guy said together…NOT ALONGSIDE…
What was it you said - clown?
I’m not seeing whatever point it may be that you’re trying to make. The poster said that he kept a brother in lane two for 3.5 miles. While neither driver is covered in glory by such a manoeuvre, it’s there in black and white.
Maybe if there wasnt 18 miles of narrow lane roadworks no one would need to be tailgating and having accidents.
EVERY single day there is a accident or breakdown with major delays.
50 mph, your having a laugh. Your lucky if you can do a average of 40mph , everyone bunching up and idiot car drivers hogging lane 2.
Its absolute shambles of a section. Are they actually doing this to ■■■■ of motorists off so they will switch to trains and can justify HS2 ■■

Even with 18 miles of roadworks there is still no NEED to tailgate. There is never a need to tailgate. Try telling that to the average red-faced, steering wheel gripping, shorts wearing, tribal tattooed meathead though.

Driving 2-3mph below my limiter gives me options.
Also I just plod along anyway at 52-53 makes for a more relaxed work life.
Our primary role is to arrive safe not on time. Being on time is just a bonus.
So pleased to have read this, as this is how I drive and often wondered when trucks come thundering past me, do they think I am a prat for driving like this.
Unless I’m on a very clear motorway, which is usually Spanish or Swedish, I never drive on the limiter, my unit is restricted to 84kph anyway, so travelling at 80kph isn’t really a problem,it gives me the option of dropping a gear should I need to quickly get up to 84kph and manoeuvre around a slower vehicle, yes it’s annoying to drivers who think they are in a Death Race, and I’ve had numerous conversations about the myth of getting there quicker by driving in the limiter, but with the standards of today’s roads, the length of road works and speed restrictions, there’s no real difference.
The way I see it, we’re all travelling to the same destination (death) at the same speed, and everything in the meantime is largely irrelevant. I think we should all chill out and enjoy this temporary eye-blink called life.

Agree 100% but it all stems from this fashion of narrowing lanes for no reason and mile after mile of unnecessary lane closures.
