My old man used to park his motor in there at week ends a few years ago ,the security blokes used to tell him park right next door to the security lodge as that was the safest place , the funny thing was in the 2years he was parking there he never paid a penny , only used to give them a couple of cases of cheap French beer a month and they was as happy as a sand boy with that .

Used to drop my trailer next to security most weekends. The lads used to pinlock it and never had it touched once. I don’t doubt the fact that like your dad I looked after them helped though.

Complete waste of time that place, why they ever took the barriers down is beyond me surely it must be worthwhile the owners doing something to clean up the places act now…
Thefts, funny goings on in the toilets, poor food and iv even had a bloke who said he was on the run wanting a lift up north one night.
It seems to be getting worse an awful place and such a shame.
too near Liverpool you see!
Def used to be a good place to stop, but boy has it gone down hill.
Happened to stop in there about 6 months ago, for a 9, never again.
I know I’m going back a bit, but does anybody remember, or still have, the Poplar2000 drivers membership card ( My number is , or was, 2153 )

The owners are not bothered, why would they be? they still get the place full despite the reputation
If the place was boycotted after some kind of notification as to why, say in the form of an organised letter or petition for instance, or some kind of bad publicity… anybody got a mate or contact from the local press?
Or better still… an official letter from a truckers forum manager pointing out what a large percentage of their members think about it
I have not o/n parked at Lymm for about 14years for the same reason I don’t park at MSAs, which is basically what it is when you think about it, ie overpriced food, facilities, and parking, with minimal thought for truckers.

End of the day Moto own the place and we all know how they feel towards us don’t we, they won’t improve the place for us. However if something was happening to the coaches that use the ■■■■ hole then they’d soon jump into action
