Made sticky by dd. … unstickied now the truck has been found.
Easy to spot that in that colour scheme so I’ll keep a look out
Wagon has been found, police on scene
not mine, but i bet the paintwork helped find it
Didn’t think it would take long with those colours, at least its safe now.
brados:
at least its safe now.
depends on if its still got its load on board

A pain I know but goods are probably insured and you can work tomorrow with the truck and not go out shopping for another - a result anyway.
good news you got it back, couple of hours more and that would have been in the back of a cotainer heading east

Police are appealing for information about the theft of a lorry from Leicester City’s King Power stadium this morning.
The vehicle, which contained a high value public address system due to be used as part of the club’s championship victory parade through the city centre today, was stolen at about 9.20am.
However, the parade will still go ahead as planned. Police said both the lorry and the PA system were recovered in Swannington Road, near Fosse Road, Leicester, about an hour after the theft was reported.
Following forensic examination, police said the equipment will be available for use in the parade.
No arrests had been made, but police said inquiries were continuing.
Inspector Pete Williams, who led the hunt for the missing lorry, said: “The lorry had a highly distinctive pink and black cab. We would particularly like to speak to anyone who saw it and could help us identify the driver.
“I am delighted we have been able to recover this lorry and equipment quickly.
“While we aim to respond promptly to all reports of crime, I know fans have waited a long time for promotion and it would have been unfair for the actions of a selfish minority to spoil the well-deserved promotion celebrations.”
The lorry cab is a black and pink Volvo, while the trailer had sky blue curtain sides. One of the cab’s windows was smashed during the theft.
Anyone with information should call Leicestershire Police on 101, quoting incident 242 of May 4. Alternatively, contact Crimestoppers, which is free and anonymous, on 0800 555 111.
