I saw this truck running down the a23 last sunday with a scrivin Scania (saw this before looks smart and plain at same time)
Yes have saw before and is 24 plt fridge. Y less on the rates ive loaded max 24 plts from spain for last 6 months as weight out with th citrus before the space . would be overweight with 26plts. The bloke (gary) not here to defend his self but surely its his truck his money his business . JEalousy springs 2 mind . Waiting for the bashings now lol
i only started this topic to show some pictures of a nice truck and to show i sometimes meet “renowned” uk hauliers (better than saying famous or even more responses) but some of the responses lead me to believe there are more people with something negative to say than there are positive

hahaha dont see how you can see it as a hazard when you can clearly see out the window and out of the mirrors. Plus the curtain is only drawn over a little bit a the top and the bottom is tucked in to where it should be. Dont see how that pose’s a risk what so ever. Unless he is been chased by a low flying aircraft and cant see him out of that little bit,
you may well laugh my friend but what is the point of the recent law regarding retro fitting of wide angle mirrors,maufacturers fitting windows with the best possible view,mirrors that are not just stuck anywhere but positioned to see over between or under,when a driver is going to obscure half his bloody window with a piece of tat curtain,and granted this is not the worse case iv seen many of them would rather break their neck getting out than disturb the curtain with their shoulder.even so this guy at an angled junction is going to make things harder for himself.
by the way do you have an oppinion as to why they do this.

I inherited a truck with tasselled curtains so I cut them all off and swapped the curtains round so the rest of the poofy frilling is at the back and doesn’t show…
Live and let live etc but the tassel look is definitely not for me, and I too prefer to be able to see as much glass as possible when I’m driving.
No i dont have the curtain thing going on,what ■■■■■■ me off is how us brits slag off everyone,like we slag off the french,but if they have problems they stick together and most of the time get results!! i understand what youre sayin,but as a safety issue curtains are nothing to some things that still go,and i do think youre out of order callin someone a prick for how he wants to have his curtains.
It was far more naff when I started (1986), it was all Spanish bullfighters’ sticks, little hang-down flags with “BELGIUM” written on them, winky-waver naked ladies and 24v LED “Love Call” flashing signs, there is always some craze for decorating the exterior of a truck, I am just too stingy to spend any of my beer money on it.
started around the same time mate,had the bullfighting sticks and the flashing love sign in my volvo F10 290hp
