Hi Kevin

We got back Tuesday evening after a fantastic four weeks on the Emerald Isle, met some really nice people and stayed on empty sites some of which were not officially open but let us stay any way!

Took the towcar with us so were not restricted to staying on site, even left the RV at my aunts and took a trip up to the north to see a great old friend Jimmy Marsden and Sue for a few days, then back and stayed at a site ‘Camac Valley’ just out side Dublin and spent a couple of nights with our daughter in the city.

My aunt and cousins farm in Mayo

Second to last day ready to leave Camac Valley Campsite to go to Rosslare for the next morning ferry.

Yes I am up for the meet up at Tim’s if we are back from August in France.

Pat
Leave the Black Velvet alone France in August
Cheers Mate

Hi Gazza and all,

This photo reminds me of my youth when i worked for Simons ( fruit and veg ) at St Margarets Lane in Titchfield in the late 60,s
Pitters used to deliver these loads of fruit to us in those wooden crates. All handball then of course, though that
was,nt a problem cos it was the norm anyway.
Could,nt do it now though, i get outa breath just climbing in or out of cab now.

Pat…glad to hear you enjoyed your hols mate.

Hi another pic from Marc (Bubbleman)'s Scrapbook thread.

A Harradine Scania 110 pulling a SCAC Trailer, we used to pull those trailers out of Southampton and Portsmouth many years ago. Also I bought quite a few of Harradines old Scanias out of Earith in Cambridgeshire.
