Got info today that Eddie Huntley had passed away.
A colourful character of the job. Nothing ever seemed to go well for him.
Always firefighting one issue or another.
He always had a story to tell, good company.
RIP Eddie, no worries now mate.

Gazzer that is sad, Eddie was one of lifes lovable rogues and on the road he would never leave you stranded would stick with you to get you home if you had a problem with your motor.
Remember once he helped my first driver Stan Mathews RIP who had the gearbox stuck in high range on an F88, Eddie stayed with him all the way to Le Havre from the top of Cenis, they ran through the night to avoid traffic & the relevant lights but made it, he also went with Brian Paling to recover one of my smashed up Globetrotters from Italy, had many a good laughs along the way, rest in piece my friend your job is done time to rest, thoughts with Connie & all his family, Buzzer.
Sad news about Eddie a larger than life character,
had many a laugh in his company!
RIP mate

Same day but shot from a different angle?
Sheet is sloppy over the headboard allowing air in. Normally a bad thing but was that ever done with fruit etc? And back sheet over (not under) front sheet, agin letting air in.
When we did citrus out of Spain before Xmas in tilts and tauts we would try to arrange the sheets to get an air flow through the trailer to stop condensation and spoilage.
