i took that pic while i was waiting for the ■■■■■■ van to arrive on the italien side, the engine is normally located halfway in the tunnel at its fire station.

Paul that’s not you in the cab fiddling with the wiring loom is it ? or were you trying to reverse it ! and why don’t they leave the engine in the lorry  instead of in a Ford ■■■■■■ van :unamused:

Regards
Richard

no i was taking the photo, the man in cab was taking out the engine, the ■■■■■■ was waiting, i think i’m becoming as mad as you and charlie.

Hi jim seing that model of C789BPO reminded me of the ally bits that asgood engineering used to make for us ie the battery lids etc we had to lock them on though cos they wuz sort after Roger Leppard the salesman at Volvo rang me one day to say a fella was about to order a new motor but asked if he could have a john davies option pack on his and after that Asgoods did very well out of that but it did look better than the bog standard plastic one . By the way when volvo first brought out the verticle stack exaust they leaned out and you could not fit all the air deflecter kit so the paint shop boys altered our first FH then every body else wanted the same in the end volvo actually altered the design to accomodate the kit without alteration . not alot of people know that ! ! !
