Hi Tony,must have been with Mo for a couple of years mate,for me it was a very sad day Tony when everything packed up, i had intended to finish me days with him,as for RUSSELL when his dad finished he went to securicor omega as an operator and got me a job on there,i did have a conversation with Russell not so long ago after hearing he had been made transport manager at pentalvers, give my regards to dave when you get over there its been a long time as well you know mate,sorry Tony ive just finish my last bottle of fizzanti mate will wait to hear from you when you get back

Phoenix Freight Services were based at SFM’s Dell Wharf offices at Bitterne Park.They were UK agents for a Spanish Ro/Ro ferry service
which operated from 105/201 berth Western Docks,exporting the usual mix of new cars,2nd hand plant & Out of Guage equipment.
The road operartion also concentrated on the Spanish market. The Volvo is pulling an ACJ Transportation trailer

Bet you had to build up a head of steam for that Mappo, as for the cattle truck could it be Anett’s as I believe they were quite local, the Commer was a popular truck for cattle hauliers and the one we used was John Wilkins from Newbridge near Cadnam and he had two, Buzzer.
