“■■■-Jot 404” John!

It is with great sadness that I have to report the passing, early this morning, of my uncle and hero of mine, Phil Dibden. He was a long serving driver for Bakers of Southampton, then Transport Services, Barry Squibb and finally working for Pat Duffy(RIP).

He was a real character and a one off! I have many happy memories of him. Great times in the Bakers lorries and others, including many trips down to Italy including the Mont Cenis.
I will miss him and never forget him…

L R Man sorry to here of the passing of Phil, knew him quite well as most would who shipped out of Soton and Pompy. Just losing too many of the good old boys who did the job back in the day with “Axle” only gone last week. Sympathy to family in this sad time RIP Phil, Buzzer.

So sorry to hear about Phil, i knew him well and worked with him on Transport Services.
As Buzzer said, yet another loss of a proper old school driver and mate…i have great memories of my
time working with Phil, as you said L R Man he was quite a character and a laugh to run with.
Please accept my sincere condolences to you and family…may he Rest In Peace…

Hi to everyone I’m sorry to here we’ve lost Phil, I remember him on for Transport Sevices back in the day and later on for Pat but that was after I’d finished in the game. Condolences to his Family.
R Jimski.

Hi all ! The weekend I went to the Gaydon Truck Show, to display some of the models I’ve done since the show last year, it was a great show this year absolutely packed !
Well I did get another award this year, 3rd for the model of Andy MacLean 's( Jazzandy as we know him on T/Net ) GMC Astro which he drove for OHS back in the Day. I’ve also done a 141 Grangewood fridge for Kenneth Ward who loved it and took it home !! Thanks to Terry Moody for the loan of the F10 I did for his Birthday this year, and Thanks to Chippy for the loan of the Iveco and Seabrook tank I did for him last year . All in all a cracking show !
I’ll put a pic of the models that were on display.

Nice models there mate,fair play.

Awesome again Jim

Good to see those again Jimmer, well done for getting a 3rd…shoulda been a 1st though.
