Hi all, I,ve been sent some great photos from our mate Richard Green, but I,m gonna
drip feed them on as Pat would have done.
For now though, here,s one I was sent from Kevin Richardson

Hiya Mappo, one of my pics…seen heading down the dock road heading to the Truckline ferry in Poole,Cheers Bubbs,
Hi Bubbs, I must apologise mate, if I had known it was one of yours
I would have asked your permission.
Tony
Hi Tony,no probs with posting one of my old pics, just pointing out where it was taken, just a bit of useless info really,Cheers Bubbs,
Hardly useless Bubbs, nice to know exactly where the photo was taken.
I only posted it on here because Ings Transport’ from Fordingbridge is local
to us in Southampton.
I don’t suppose you,ve got any more Soton photos in your archive have you??
that have not already been posted.
It,s just that it,s gonna be hard to keep this thread going with new pics that
Pat ( bless him ) used to always come up with.
Cheers…Tony
I was a subbie for Furness back in the early '70s,Peter Cook, used to run Furness back then,a nice guy i thought,i remember Walt I’m sure he had a brother on for Gerry Ingrem, as far as i can remember Furness only had the one truck which was indeed a Buffalo. There was a great bunch of drivers on their,it was time i really enjoyed…
The bloke toting this around was nearly 80. He was interested in getting a new leading hand…I gave him your number Tone!
Cheers for that Gazzer, just right as retirement is looming.
Does a Spanish villa come with the job ■■?

As well as driving the three wheeler and doing a ■■■■■■■■■ trip to Portugal, boy you are going to be busy Mappo, cheers Buzzer.
Buzzer: In factories you used to have people on bikes whizzing around etc. If you purchased a stumpy pony and cart (as seen) for Tone in his position as the “Tracy Island Fascist Jobs Worth”, it would cover two things at once! Sideline: Kiddies rides on Bank Holidays. Should pay enough for his wages. Keep the change!
I bet Tone is writing down all the necessary phrases right now! “You’re not booked/Can’t bring that in here/You won’t get in here with that attitude/I’m videoing you for training purposes”.

Mappo, sounds like a typical traffic office, couldn’t sort a drink out in a brewery!!! mind shows they got faith in you to do all those jobs?!!
One thing about TIR Tone trunker08: He has never been known to shrink away from a challenge! Always a helping hand, always with the boys, always a quid for the one arm bandit and never cowering from the bar at the August bash! God bless him!
Well you couldn’t ask for a better reference than that,?!! I all ways had faith in him!!, mick.
Fergie… I dunno if I can keep this up mate without expenses, it,s costing me a small
fortune in he/she clothing. Can I borrow some of yours ■■
