The Hill Foden with steering trailer I think Danny Dovey has & the Pentalver Roadtrain belonged to Bedminster Transport a subbie one of there Roadtrains has been restored I think in Wimpeys livery.

Anyone remember Crow Carrying Company Ltd they used to share a depot at Upton Lane Nursling with Molo Transport
they were both part of the TDG group of companies. One of their old drivers Charlie has just died he lived just round the corner from me in Bourne Road a real cockney RIP Charlie.

sorry to be the bearer of bad news but some terribly tragic sad news will be heading this way , sorry cant say anymore than that at the moment .

I,m pretty sure that a lot of if not most people that post on here will already know.
I can’t be the one to break the news…I just can’t put it into print.

Just thought I would post this to rally all the regular contributors and watchers of Long Departed Southampton Hauliers thread to keep it going, Pat was a major influence on here and always did his best to keep it on page one, so in his memory it would only be right to try and continue this trend. Of course its not going to be the same with out him with his varied inputs but we are duty bound to try. There will justifiably be a period of mourning his loss by all who knew him, but I feel sure he would want us to keep this thread going and on page one, Buzzer,
