Here’s another of Wynn’s Pacifics “Challenger” Squeezing under the railway bridge on Marchwood Bye-Pass with Schools class loco “Stowe” on board. On its way to Beaulieu in Feb 1964, bit before H&S. Its a magazine pic so a bit grainy. Mike.

Here’s one of them heading through the New Forest with Challenger in charge again.From reading the article movement of the train which consisted of Three Coaches,Tender and Locomotive the thirteen miles from Millbrook Station to the Motor Museum,Beaulieu took five days. Mike.
