How would you fancy letting Reg load this for you at the Gore, Dave?

Thanks, Dave. You’ll have to re-train your chief photographer. Send her on one of my courses & I’ll teach her how to respond to reasonable request
And you’ll notice that I’ve discovered how to make multiple attachments. Technology, here we comes from the Head of the Household!
And for goodness’ sake don’t let her see this post!!!

I can put multiple pics on at a time Casey, but I string them out,its a habit I have got into.If I post pics on the photo forum I will put several on together.
Cheers Dave.

More from Llandudno. Sorry if I’ve included TN members’ vehicles on here, but there were very few owners in attendance when I wandered round.

If everyone’s not bored yet I’ll put a few more up tomorrow night.

Post deleted.

Pete.

That AEC of 3300 John’s looks good, the first time that I have seen a pic of it. A few local ones to me on there, some old workmates truck’s and some owned by friends but in different liveries from last year!! I even do rallies with the owner of the three wheeled truck haha. Good posting.

Pete.

Oops, used ‘quote’ instead of ‘edit’!

Didn’t someone on here mention recently that they would like a motorhome?
“This time next year, Rodney, the van could have doubled in size”.

Reg retired about ten years ago Casey,he finished a few months before his 65th birthday,as his wife was terminally ill.
Last I heard of him,he wasn’t very well himself. He lived in this village until his wife died, then he sold his house and moved to Oreleton.I used to see him in Morrison’s at Leominster, but haven’t seen him lately.
Cheers Dave.

That’s sad, pal.

Excellent photos ROF keep them coming mate, hopeing to get there myself sunday with a bit of luck.cheers.

Hi, Folks , I was at LLandudno ,to day There was a fine display 3300 Johns AEC looked well. had a look for him but no luck, Dan Puchard’s E.R.F twin steer also stud out ,A couple of Thornycrofts ,looked well ,A well turned out field ,I heard a few say that they could not get their motors on the field ,may need a larger field just for lorrys ,Cheers Barry .

I particularly liked the Thorneys as well, Barry. When my old chap used to lift me into the cab to take me with him I thought that they were huge machines. With the passage of time I realize that I can see into the cab just by looking through the side window!

The evolution of cab design from the Austin/Morris stable. 1950, 1958 & 1967

Of particular interest to Cattlewagonman, perhaps?

I particularly like the Mk2 AEC although I don’t know if I would like to do Scotch with it in the winter!

Cracking pics Casey, from what looks a very good show.We didn’t get up there, but will perhaps another year.Hope to go to the Shropshire truckshow next Sunday weather permitting,a bit closer to home.
Cheers Dave.

Ahhh, I knew I should have gone in instead of being tight and just trying to grab pictures from outside the field! Cracking photo’s there ROF, keep 'em coming if you have more please!

Geoff Newsome will be holding his own show again this year at Kelsall, anyone going to it?

Definitely going to Smallwood & Kelsall (weather permitting, as usual!).
And will try to squeeze in a visit to Astle Park as well to see some REAL oldies.
