Even though they haven’t arrived in any number yet, virtually every Big Issue seller you encounter in London is Romanian nowadays. They aren’t homeless, it’s just that selling the Big Issue for 16 hours a week gives them self-employed status and they can then claim a raft of State Benefits. They knew that on the day they decided to up sticks and get on the minibus.
I don’t blame the Bulgarians and Romanians, as I always say “blame the game, not the players”. Common Sense screams that immigration needs to be stopped, not racism. We were full up years ago.
Actually, the problem is not the Romanians, but the romanian Gypsies.The BBC has a report about their behaviour in Spain… Also,in the news about two days ago I heard that, there is a new type of crime in Britain; people stop you on the road and ask for help. The story is about their empty tank, they have to go home, but their money was stolen, etc. So they will offer you a “very valuable” ring, THAT ACTUALLY MADE OF BRASS. This trick was very popular in Europe, since the early nineties, when the Romanian people started travelling free. This is the first step, when they will see, this one does not work any longer, the next fraud/crime is coming up. You will take a break at motorway services, then you will notice later on the motorway you have a puncture. After you stopped on the hard shoulder, friendly people will stop and offer help. We are running trucks into France every week and there has been no talk of such gangs , I am in France every week and have not expierenced any such problem and neither have any of my work mates, so I would put this down to scare mongering by the French and the resident Bigot.
Possibly similar to story’s of drivers been gassed in European truckstops. Often the drivers who are in the bar acting like its the night before prohibition started

As I understand it, the OP is saying that a French trucker’s magazine has reported that many truck drivers in France are being held up at gunpoint by Lithuanians gangs, and the OP felt that the story would possibly be of interest to Truck & Driver or some other UK transport periodical. I don’t see the OP as anything to get bent out of shape about.
I agree with you 100% and i’ve not mentioned anything about the OP. You however appear within about three posts to have gotten to Bulgarians and Romanians appearing here as criminal gangs. I’m just telling you (or anyone else )that thats not a disscusion we’re going to have here.

I had a problem a couple of years ago in Poland with a Romanian gang trying to force me to pull over but they disappeared fairly sharpish when I creased one of their BMW’s
