Leyland DAF 45

These were as fast as ■■■■ when they were new. The engines got tired very quickly and got slower in only a short time.
I remember beating many a car off the lights around 1995 when working for Kitsons! M886 ONE was mine!

Hi ■■■■■■■ ( Thomas ) Gill ,
When I saw this 45 at the Kirkby Stephen Rally at Easter weekend , it was attending with a childrens fairground ride . Maybe I should have taken a photograph from the other side , just in case you were on the ride ` .
Mr. Bewick would have liked a smile from you as you whizzed around on the " Stobart truck " .
Cheers , cattle wagon man.

Hello ■■■■■■■■ Gill,
If your little Fiat has enough Anderson Lead , then have a wander to Carlisle.
Since youve missed this 45, parked outside the Carlisle Truckstop , I thought Id help you out .
There is a car park there , so you wont feel embarressed about parking next to the big lorries , and not being able to find your car after you ve had a busy day with your camera.

Cheers , cattle wagon man.

Hello cattle wagon man
Many thanks marra. Excelent photo.
Yes, I would feel a bit embarressed about parking next to a huge wagon in my Fiat, which I’m thinking of having a stick put on the back with ’ Fiats are S***'.
Kindest regards
