LDD - Richards Bay to Lephalale again

Theres 5 drivers, 2 steersmen and a project manager, who is the former workshop foreman at ALE. So we all help out for any repairs that come up.

Brilliant Rob. Just brilliant.

Rob, I understand the brakes being linked so that they’re under the control of the front driver, but how do you coordinate the throttles of each vehicle? Or is it just a case of “keep her lit”?

Thanks Rob for the last post but also a thank you should be
given and is long over due for the REST of the crew as it is a team
Job and with out a good team nothing will go right so Please
thank all those who are part of this project from the tea boy to
the one at the very top, and I stand by what I said before a
dvd WOULD sell mate with out doubt world wide if done right,

Only a short day today, roughly 45kms from the border to Piet Retief.

Dennis Childs met us here and took several photos of us climbing the hills.
roadtransport.com/blogs/big- … unipo.html

Approaching the town, where we ultimately need to turn right, but because of our size, we will turn left and continue on that road until a cross roads and perform a 3 point turn to face the correct direction.

First left turn.

Tractors off again for the shunt.

Going forward and to the right, to face the correct direction.

Adding the 2 Goliaths for extra traction up the climb backwards to our laybye.

Taking the whole fleet into the town to the first fuel stop on the trip and spotted this tidy new Volvo.

Robv8 sorry to say this mate but your pictures
are or were not showing as of 0020cet Thursday morning mate

Why is that? Upgrade to Pro today or something.Expect you have to buy software to view them?

It means too many of us have looked at the photos. I’m guessing that RobV8 would need to pay to upgrade his account if we are to see the photos. It may be that the photos will reappear after a time if the exceeded bandwidth is over a set period like daily or monthly etc.
