Wow, I need a lie down in a darkened room now after uploading and titling that lot!
Notice the vids don’t seem to be working. Help (via PM) please.
EDIT: Seems because they exceed 2.0MB. One is under that, but won’t upload as AVI format not accepted.
Ideas please.
Yes I know my reg. no. is clearly visible. Do I care? Nah, not a bit of it, I’ve nothing to hide.

Nice one, I enjoyed that.
Favourite photo is the one of the car and the old red phone box at Loch Striven. It could have been taken last week or 36 years ago.
You need to straighten your horizons, that Loch’s got a bit of a lean to it, about 3 degrees left should do it.
that steam train The Jacobite, taken at Fort William, is that the one they call the Harry Potter train?
my wife and eldest son went on that four years ago when we stayed up in Invermorriston
Thanks for taking the time Driverone, enjoyed seeing the car doing such a nice trip, always liked a Dolly! In the Helensburgh picture looking across the river you can see my old house! Well you could if it wasn’t raining!
Cracking stuff, thanks for sharing
Great pics Driverone, good going in a car from the 70’s.
Cheers Dave.
Flick that overdrive!
I am liking Nessie on the heritage trail.
I have been on HMS Glenlea with a friend who worked on her, not at sea, just during a restoration.
Nice pictures
Cracking diary with great pictures. Love the pictures of the train and over the viaduct And its nice to see classic cars are still alive and well
Cheers

Yes Neil, so I see. Is that Irish man still wandering about with a set of water skis under his arm looking for a lake sloping down hill? I’ve found it for him.
Yes Shuttle, its the Harry Potter train. You’ll find vids of it on youtube.
Malcolm where was the Glenlee when you went aboard, Spain or Glasgow?
Thanks for your comments guys. A little appreciation goes a long way and makes it worth the time spent to upload it all.
The Dolly Sprint is lovely, I liked the pic of the Rover Sterling, you said “not many of these left” but I’m still running mine…
Two-door versions are much rarer I know… I am always baffled as to why such fantastic cars are scrapped for want of a couple of tyres or a new exhaust system…
Thanks for taking the time to post, I enjoyed that. After many trips in the truck, a proper tour of Scotland has been on my list of ‘things to do’. Must get round to it.

Nice diary and nice Triumph , use to be the pretty quick when we were old boys in Capris and escorts ,
never cut it with the birds though in a Triumph even though they were quicker
I had Rover 820 , all i can say was it was a nice floaty ride , poor engines , old fashion underpinnings but
cheap as chips. Problem is they are a heavy car and now worth more as scrap then a road runner.
