Knights of old

They’ve gone into administration.

What’s really sad, is that the article reports their financial woes stemmed from a ransomeware attack that they never recovered from.

northantstelegraph.co.uk/ne … es-4349040

Makes you cringe really, requesting the statement that was made to be retracted as the whole group has gone into administration as was reported. They knew it was happening so why request the retraction in the first place.

All in administration apart from Nelson which seems odd they were able to sell part of the business before going into administration. That smells a little fishy to me. All copied from KNP website homepage.

Steve Porter are still in business. Just seen an apology in the trade press. Someone issues the wrong statement.

Judging by the posts on various places of people who allegedly work there being stood down and told to clear their vehicles it seems it is likely true. A press release was made by a PR firm about it, they have likely been told to retract the statement until a formal statement is made. Steve Porter is owned by KNP. So if KNP are going bust then it’s likely all its subsidiaries are also. It was also reported the KNP group would make a statement on Monday I believe. So it’s mostly smoke and mirrors likely, the people who really know the truth at those that have been told to clear out their cabs etc.

Are you always this late to the party? I refer you to post number 23 where I copied and pasted all that info on Tuesday last week. It’s only been on their website and posted here for a week. [emoji23]

Cut the guy some slack, he only joined the forum 8 days ago and given how the server behaves I don’t think that is too bad for getting a post to upload

They did the book job up the road from me , no idea who does it now but I believe the book place closes 2025 anyway

Why did I see a knights of old unit pulling a trailer earlier
in Sidcup. If they have closed down.

Could have been one of Nelson’s trucks as they’re still going

I live quite near their new Islip depot and it looks like most of the trucks are gone
