I don`t think P&O did Russian work, but any trailer that was towable went out there sometimes.
And when it was real busy any unit that was roadworthy (ish) went there too, some even made it back.

betz did all the way to an island off the east coast of russia too, remember pics /story in one of the truck mags sakhalin island i think, guess they did it overland just to do it ,

Nick Whale aka Rodders took a truck to Vladivostok, was about 2000 IIRC,was for some kind of exhibition in Japan.

John, was this taken on “The Goat Track”, I never went to Tengis, and on occasion, when I run with some of your lads, they went straight on, I turned left for Aktobe & Chimkent.

hi dave, can you give the main destinations in the “stans” im guessing there were some different destinations along the way but would have thought the loads kind of whent to a few main cities? Cheers John (ps, just so i can get the map out and have a look at were you guys traveled to)
