Very unprofessional … you need more straps on that !! you should know better :unamused:

I think he’s being a bit over zealous really. He could use the internal straps or, if the trailer has load bearing curtains, not strap it down at all. Perfectly safe either way. :stuck_out_tongue: :unamused:

Reminds me of a ‘load’ I had to collect once…

and yes that’s on a 45’ trailer.

looks heavy as well, sure you wasn’t overloaded

Strapped down because obviously you didn’t want your back doors smashing in!

They didn’t stay like that for long, I collected a proper backload a bit later and they ended up chucked (by chucked I mean carefully and securely placed of course) on top of the palletised full load which was fully strapped with internals and a crisscross across the back two (probably :stuck_out_tongue: )

We didn’t have any of those new fangled load rated curtains back then as far as I remember.

On the Fed Ex / Matchbox contract I once ran from Rugby to Glasgow with a 3’ by 3’ carton of yesteryear models in a 40’ trailer and returned empty.

i once had a full load of glider engines, and then 2 pickups, one of waitcoat sleeves and then filed out the splitter with chicken lips.

I was once sent out in an 18T rigid on overtime (having already completed my run) from Northampton to Amazon at Milton Keynes. My load was a box containing an electric shaver.
