oh right les paul, a mate of mine from isle of wight has just gone back for the second time and his Mrs is on her way soon with the kids… He drives to all parts of america i believe… See how long he lasts this time aye…

yeah Athans was a regular job for STS with Sony tv’s, but i only did it once…

Yeah things do… I Will post pics 2mrw Steve, I Wanna mess about with my camera to get a clearer pic ok… Vince done a good job i was well pleased with it… In fact i done the first trip with no sun visor and half the signwriting but it went back in next wk to have the visor fitted and all finnished… i think Moreys ordered the wrong colour one 1st time round… Regards Kev

hi went down to by a02 SSC daf of tiny when thay were stopped from trading ie VOSA. big fuel tanks?only fumes in them sounds about right for that setup

Just thought i’d post this up for you seeing as your one of the old crowd!
Not as big as the flash DAF’s that Ings had after i left. 2800 DAF was the bo----ks in them days crap pay always ripped the driver off with their bonuses and the most rememberable thing i remember driving for Ing’s was you could guarantee that you would smell like a ■■■■■■■■■ door of a Grimsby trawler. im sorry but was reading ur stories,very interesting,we knew a guy at ings called john,dont know his surname,he did the continent a lot,he often pulled out of frans mass,he left ings and bought a taxi firm ,i do beleive,do u know if he still around,thanks audrey

last time i see Rocky he had a DAF 2800 or 3300 pulling out of portsmouth, was he a boxer in the forces,
