what about the call from some foreign land saying your pc is corrupt and you could loose everything on it unless you buy whatever they are selling, what crap. My mum had this once when I was visiting and she was just about to get her bank card out luckily I stopped her and amazingly her pc was ok after all . :smiling_imp:

I got that one…I had loads of fun with it… :laughing: :laughing: :laughing: Even it was more fun than PC World baiting. :grimacing:

has anyone else had that text telling u that u have not claimed for the accident u had

i got a texts like that and calls asking for karen davies from a claims company in london,
it was a laugh for the 1st month, making them hold and then telling them to call back later, but they were persistent calling up to 4 time a day from a few different numbers and it went on for over 6 months and i later traced one of the numbers to canada
if i was busy, i would answer it an stick the phone back in my pocket

my wife gets emails asking if they can deposit 1 million pound in our account for x amount of days and in return we can keep the interest it always starts with can i trust u bla bla bla
i reakon if i claimed for all the cash i had won etc id b a very rich man right now :unamused:
