I'm a transport god*! Bow before me peasants

only once…on his last trip.

Hahaha, typo! I meant left the ground!

he also did that once before he signed up for the raf…he used to fix gas cookers…there was a bit of a tragedy involving his last raid though as although everyone else bailed out and was ok,then being the pilot,he was testing a new top secret type of parachute designed in ireland that opened on impact. :open_mouth:

switchlogic:
Nothing negative about that, I was providing a public service educating the mentally challenged

Are you a student masquerading as a lorry driver?

I keep odd hours

He was what a productive week looks like in North America. 70 hours is the limit in 7 days.

switchlogic:
Have a very productive Saturday and Sunday running to Italy. I do like to make the most of my available hours!

  • This is clearly a joke, we all know I’m a moron

Second one is an infringement.

I wondered how long it would be before someone split hairs. You don’t know is an infringement, could be 10 hrs 0 minutes 0 seconds

Yes, but 9 hours, 59 minutes and .9999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999 of a second is the last point at which driving has not exceeded ten hours. :stuck_out_tongue:

10 hours 0 minutes 0 seconds hasn’t exceeded10 hours either, it is 10 hours

Oh well I left my card in on other work all weekend. Life goes on.

my work colleague got a verbal warning for that this morning from a nice vosa man at Southampton even though he did a printout and wrote an explanation on the print out

dont forget to tell the uk boys chrisarbon after that 70hrs 7days you can start allover again and stay running on gained hrs what a joke

Surprised by these replies tbf. Any one else they’d be getting told to stand up for them self, being run ragged by the boss, parked up on 8.59 etc etc.

The difference when doing a trip to Italy though is that you can drive for 9 hours and still only do a 10 hour day.

Maybe it’s because they know I’m self employed and therefore pick and choose what I do. Besides, I consider a company that maximises your hours well run

That’s very true. A weekend running to Italy can’t be considered a hardship whichever way you look at it

no doubt someone will come along and say that it is…itl be interesting to see how they work that out though.
