today is a day of rest therefore i will not do anything remotely work related which is why i went for a spin in the bobcat earlier and dug a nice neat hole for some bushes in the garden - got some more experience with it too :grimacing: :grimacing: :grimacing:

then when julie came round before to ask if i can look after her sprogs next week she brought not 1 but 2 sets of lego technic with her — i couldna exactly tell where to go and get off could a :exclamation:

now am sat here with a brew and some cadbury dairy milk wondering about the job i gotta do tomorrow cos the lego sets have been built and are sat on the windowsill and all the bills have been paid and i’ve been shopping for us, been shopping for me dog and been to the butchers to order sunday dinner and i’ve put juice in the car, put juice in the bobcat, made sure that the diesel bowser had enough in it for me forks to use and fettled the bobcat and fettled the forks and i’ve loaded both of them plus the diesel bowser on to the RoRo flat bed that i’ve got and tied them down tight and the guys from the local skip company are coming tomorrow with an 8x4 hooklifter bright and early to take them to site for me :grimacing: :grimacing: :grimacing:

i love lego - been playing with the stuff for over 30years and the fact that my friends sprogs love the stuff juss means that i get to pretend that i’m not actually enjoying mesel lol :grimacing: :grimacing: :grimacing:

it was all chilling nicely till she came home and disturbed the peace with tales from the office that she works in — like i really wanted to hear any of it, i wanted to make like the dog cos he just went to sleep :grimacing: :grimacing: :grimacing:

got sent some piccies of this mornings job and it looks like a reet cushy number — just gotta pick up some heavy pipe and lift em up so someone else can bolt and weld em into place — nice and simple, so that’s me avin an easy thurs, fri, sat and sunday :grimacing: :grimacing: :grimacing:

just knocked it on the head for today – total 6 hours ish at £30p/h (and yes i really am that expensive to hire — but summats gotta pay for all the cadburys) not bad for a hard days sunbathing :grimacing: :grimacing: :grimacing:
i got a 12v travel fridge that plugs into the spare cig lighter socket that i got put in here and it’s stocked with cadbury choccy and 12 cans coca cola – forget the brue chapel cheese and small chunk branston sarnies, maybe tomorrow for them :grimacing: :grimacing: canna wait to get home for a decent brew - could muller a tetleys white with 3 sugar right now

couldn’t really go anywhere cos the guys am working with hooked the grinder upto the 110v socket that i’ve got on the boom of my telehandler — i did however spend about 2 hours loading a 6ton dumper with bobcat which was fun and something that i rarely get to do with it - it’s normally " can you give the roads a scrape and pile the muck over there" etc…

so the only pain in the ■■■■ is that i gotta go home only to have to come back tomorrow — they got 2 pieces of said pipe installed today which apparently was really good and they’re on schedule to do the job in their allotted time frame - suits me - another 6 hours tomorrow :grimacing: :grimacing: :grimacing:

Sounds like home to home for you foxy , with all your comforts:D I have a mini fridge, & mini oven 24v & plug in cooler box (if I need a change ), most of the time I don’t use them, although it does depend on where & how long my next trip is! :sunglasses: I tend to not eat a lot when I’m working, I prefer to get on with the job :unamused:
