If I was there and you blocked the H/S or any other lane for that matter. I would be uploading the HD footage to YOUTUBE with a link to your company.
Feel free, and I’ll give you my address, as I AM my own company. (Ltd of course.)
billybigrig: @NWmwaypolice: Dont be tempted to use the hard shoulder on the M6 northbound to jump the queue - cameras have picked out over 30 vehicles
@NWmwaypolice: Drivers can expect one of our tickets through the post and 3 points
Relax Quinny this is what five-o were tweeting about earlier re that incident
So Quinny may also be getting a ticket too. How else can he block off the hard shoulder to others without first crossing the solid white line to do so. Even if hes not fully in the lane, hes left the main carriageway.
But anyone can drift across the line for no reason, we see it everyday in this job and if that were the case, then an awful lot of tickets would be written out.
I would think that the Police will be looking at those that were travelling along the hard shoulder with their hazards on for no reason, other than to Q jump.
He certainly deserves one.A lot of police would see his actions as worse than the traffic on the move.
No driver has the right to block any road especially a hard shoulder on a motorway.
Taking the law into your own hands just because something irritates you is totally unprofessional…
I got caught in an M1 closure a while back and took this shot. Yes, I used my phone while stationary in a queue, shoot me
I find it disgusting to be honest, people thinking their time is so important they can use the hard shoulder for their own use. It’s not exactly uncommon either and really shows how many utter ■■■■■ there are about.

And like I said at the beginning, I don’t care what people think, so deal with it.

Sorry but it is just my opinion to which I am entitled. You may be the one that has to deal with it.Not me!

Maybe ■■■■’s would though. Or Marshall’s. Or Brocks. Or Bedfords. A quick phone call would soon reveal all. Internet not as anonymous as some like to think.

To be honest, this amounts to the same type of action that you’re saying to report him for.
There’s no proof he actually did it and isn’t just a keyboard warrior. It’s not our job to police the hard shoulder but it’s not our job to police others bad driving by telling tales to his customers. Why are you so interested in getting involved in something that has made no impact to your life and is only based on what you’ve seen written on the Internet? After all, we know that everything you read online is 100% true don’t we■■?

I have no interest either way, Mick. The point I was trying to make was that he apparently isn’t bothered what people think of his actions and tries to hide behind his own “I’m my boss and I’m on the internet so you can’t touch me” façade, but he should perhaps think on because there are people on here that know who he is and who he drives for that would take a dim view if they knew that a driver in one of their liveried vehicles was behaving as he had.
I don’t really have a problem with the reasons WHY he did what he did, but on the other hand if he wants to act like a policeman then he should join the police. I’m afraid I don’t really have time for these people that self appoint themselves as police when it suits.
