In the 21 century Frans Maas starts al more new depots in the south countrys off Europe.

Al it work to and from those countrys was done by sub contractors.

Left on top the new Frans Maas depot at Idrun and left on the bottum the new Frans Maas depot at Barcelona.

HI,IUSED TO PULL FOR FRANS MAAS MANCHESTER DEPOT IN THE 90S FOR MATT DUIKER WHO HAD ABOUT 4 DAFS MY SON STEVE DROVE ONE,ALAD CALLED MALLEY FROM HULL ANOTHER AND A LAD OFF THE WIRRAL CALLED BRIAN THE OTHER ONE.A GUY WHOSE NAME I CANT RECALL WAS A SORT OF FOREMAN DRIVER HE CAME FROM GLOSSOP WERE MATT HAD A BIT OF A YARD. I GOT MATT INTO THE GAME WHEN HE WAS JUST A KID. HIS OLD MAN AND ME WERE MATES AND HE ASKED ME WOULD I TAKE HIM ON A TRIP. I TOOK HIM A FEW TIMES AND HE ALWAYS SAID WHEN HE GREW UP HE WOULD OWN HIS OWN TRUCK,AND GOD BLESS HIM HE FINISHED UP WITH A FEW, AND I DROVE FOR HIM. The company Elzo Renkema put his tractors of the end of the 60’s and early of the 70’s in the home colours of Frans Maas.

One of the other sub contractors from Frans Maas Groningen was Fa. A. Karsies & Zn. from Groningen. He drived with 2 Scania 110 tractors and an Scania Vabis lorry.

Trucks in the own colours and in the colous of Frans Maas.
