I’ve just picked up on this thread – many many years ago I used to meet a F Maas subbie Alex ? !
I’ve looked out for him in recent years & was told recently that he has been involved in an accident !
Although we were’nt great mates (just someone to have a meal with if we met up) I’d like to know if he’s ok !
My apologies for hijacking your thread !!

R.P.T. = Ray Pountain Transport from Moordrecht also pulling for Frans Maas Waddinxveen.
Hi Chalkey, I remember your dad , The Blouse ( Mick Lacey ? ) and Alex ■■■■■■■■ The Comb, when they were both on P&O. Then when I was a Subbie at Manchester for a few years I knew most of the lads from Roadways at Brownhills, some of the other P&O blokes were there too, though I can only remeber Jock, there was also John Boy, Spatzo Chimino, I can`t remember the other names. What a shame it was to hear about Alex, another great loss to our community. R.I.P.
