Hi ya Big Leggy! yeah Alex well I knew him very well.He work out of Frans Maas Brownhills. And yeah he had a accident rolled his truck and wrote it off,but he was ok…And when Frans Maas sacked ther depot manager. He went with him
to Ango-Overseas Aldridge…West midlands…Then the last I heard of him he had a heart attack and past on, and is driving up stairs R.I.P. He is mentioned on here on a couple of threads…His truck is on page 10 OF this thread REG no
M 500 AGS and his first truck as owner driver above it… If i find out anymore about Alex i’ll keep you informed… And by the way your welcome to hijack the thread. :laughing: :laughing: :wink: All the best ( Wagsie )

Wagsie, yes I always wandered around the truck parks at Truckfest to see some ‘real hardworking trucks!!!’ and came across yours, obviously not knowing at the time I would give FM 10 years of my life!

Hi Chalkey, I remember your dad , The Blouse ( Mick Lacey ? ) and Alex ■■■■■■■■ The Comb, when they were both on P&O. Then when I was a Subbie at Manchester for a few years I knew most of the lads from Roadways at Brownhills, some of the other P&O blokes were there too, though I can only remeber Jock, there was also John Boy, Spatzo Chimino, I can`t remember the other names. What a shame it was to hear about Alex, another great loss to our community. R.I.P.
