Also worth pointing out, not that anyone will listen, that when it comes to running bent British operators were as bad as anyone and worse than most
Think Luke’s got a point there, when it was paper tacho’s and the ministry man (instead of VOSA) we all got away with murder things changed now.
They’ll always be HSF to me (This and my Virginia 750 only two models I own, 750 lives at my brothers house, let him borrow it while I still lived in the aforementioned 750 and now I live in a house don’t have heart to ask for it back!)

Exactly. It’s so funny when you see on Facebook and to a lesser extent here all these British drivers ■■■■■■■■ and moaning like blue murder about law Breaking foreigners and you just know that them being a certain age with international work in their past they nearly all did exactly the same. It’s not that recent that GB plates stopped being an instant pull by authorities in Europe. Reputations are hard to shake

Yeah but a Danish company buying a Dutch company, that’s foreign news!

Might be Dutch but HSF are/were a common sight on UK roads
Had a U.K. depot once, Blakenham, maybe still do that had all UK reg trucks lifting trailers from ports, almost never went over, and they always sort of looked down on the rest of us as they ran 100% legal Did a week at Blakenham once, worked for HSF (well the UK agent) for 3 years on and off and it so jumped around depots a lot and Blakenham was like having a week off. At Nijemegen you’d do more hours in 2 days than many of them did in a week
