I think if depends how you read it. I read it that ADR are employing you to drive primarily at Howdens but may be elsewhere.
Plus you’ve got an actual agency driver placed in Howdens telling you it’s not how Howdens employs people.
Agencies lie, exaggerate and bend the truth. The chances of that changing are as high as the temp to perm job at Howdens turning up.
I know fullwell they’re not being honest, and I don’t expect them to change that.

Except they aren’t from what I can see. The other bit states that:
"Once registered with ADR Network you will also have access to all of their other work. "
…so they are looking for drivers for Howdens, but your applying to join ADR rather than the Howdens contract specifically. If questioned they always state that the advertised contract is no longer available, but we got other work.
If the coop contract is anything to go by (looking through the signin sheet), it helps if you can speak other European languages and willing to sign up for Ltd tax scam. They might do umbrella in some cases too.
Co-op at Wellingborough is opening up end of march, money supposed to be good, it’s a Wincanton job, they might take on inexperienced drivers. If not Adam at tom orange recruitment would sort you out. He be worth a call. Kj transport, takes on inexperienced drivers on Primark at Islip but I heard money not great. Wincanton (Argos Kettering) also takes on new drivers, they would be the one I go for. They put your with another driver for a week or so to learn the ropes. Hope that might help

You’d be extremely lucky to get regular Howdens work out of ADR at this time of year never mind permanent. They are quiet, the work is day to day and it’s highly sought after. I’m not saying if you passed an assessment you wouldn’t get some shifts but don’t waste your time if you’re not prepared to work at their busier contracts like NFT Daventry. ADR are by far the best in that area for regular work but it wouldn’t be all at Howdens.
