Hi my name is tom i worked for royal mail for 24 years as a post man i ocasionally did what we called a con run where i drove a 7.5 ton, in 2007 i passed my class 2 but i never really got the chance to drive a 32 Ton apart from getting experience doing my lesson’s;; due to politics the only one thing i managed to get from RM was a digital tac; i stoped working for them in 2011 so i thought i’d take up photography i did a Diploma this year which i passed, but for some reason my heart only is in Driving those big Rig’s.i was thinking though because of the lack of driving a class 2 veichles should i go straight into learning my class 1 that way i could get the feel once again of LGV’s; also maybe doing Moffat or Hiab i am a bit sceptical though because i am 50 Nx month and i am a bit worried about whether or not without the lack of exprience and my age will i be able to get a Job, the one good thing is that i do keep myself in good shape, can anyone please give me some good advice.

Some good advice would be to save your pennies & spend them on something worthwhile, this is a miserable game to get into & it’s getting worse by the day. I don’t think age will be an issue as most outfits aren’t keen taking on youngsters…

I’m pretty sure he meant to write it the “correct” way (it is a very well-known saying, after all). But I have to be careful what I say about it or the Thought Police will be on my case accusing me of “bullying”

I’m sure he did too, I was having a laugh. It’s funny how people read what they think is written rather than what’s there.

Apologies for the Daily Mail link, but it is possible that Shuttlespanker was born with teeth…

My cousin was born with a full head of hair and a tooth. I know it’s possible but very rare.

Babies usually have a full set of milk teeth at birth (they start developing after the first few weeks of pregnancy), but they are of course normally covered by the gums until some months later.

66, and enjoying the thought of being 65 next time round :exclamation:

30

Same age as Bowser

13 months older than when I first responded to this thread!
