Hiy,
I’ve just started doing nights. I start on Monday 1700 and finish at about 0500 Tuesday. It means I finish my week at about 0500 on Saturday.
The company says that I have a choice of working on Sundays. My question is: Can I work on Sundays?
I start on Monday and finish on Saturday, that is 6 days or maybe I’m wrong.
Regards,
Simon

If you’re talking about the same hours on a Sunday (17:00 Sunday to 05:00 Monday) you could legally do it every other week, you could not legally do it every week.
In weeks when you worked Sunday you would have a reduced weekly rest period of 36 hours (05:00 Saturday to 17:00 Sunday).
With your current work pattern you have 60 hours weekly rest, this would be more than enough to pay back the 9 hours reduction of weeks when you work Sundays.
The regulations say nothing about only being able to work 6 days they say you can work six 24 hour periods before starting a weekly rest period, as your working week starts at 17:00 Monday you should start a weekly rest period or a reduced weekly rest period no later than 17:00 Sunday, if you started at 17:00 Sunday you would need to start a reduced weekly rest period no later than 17:00 Saturday.
