How do you clean your windscreen?

I’ve found I get the best results with this, or the Autoglym one. I also use it round the flat for mirrors, glass topped table, insides of the windows, shower cubicle and so on.

i myself use one or all of our night trunk drivers , thats if im home .

sooner or later one of them gets ■■■■■■ off looking through the fog a cleans it for me … :sunglasses:

same goes for the mirrors… im far to busy to do it myself … :sunglasses:

Smash/Crack windscreen

Bit of washing up liquid, spray on and wipe off…

Tiny bit of de-mineralised water and kitchen towel and elbow grease, nothing can beat it.

de-mineralised water :open_mouth: can you not just use bog standard water like what us men do ?

or even better drag a lump from deep in you throat and gob on it then give it a good wipe with your delivery notes … you know it makes sense …

Vaseline or similar does a very good job too, that may come as a surprise but try it and I guarantee you’ll be back on here commenting about it

A newspaper is the key, any cleaner will do as long as you wipe it off with a newspaper, the best one to use is Truckstop News, in fact that’s all it’s good for  and it’s free

Hiya …all old hand will tell you NEWS paper its something to do with the INK
and a quickey if you’ve let the fridge get a bit wiffy leave a news paper in the fridge for a
few days and the smell will go…any fridge…

Yes you can, but you have to scrub harder and longer and you need more paper to avoid smears, to be honest I’m a lazy ■■■■■■■ but the pennies for a litre of de-mineralised (Ironing or battery) water are worth it.

But if you compare the price to all the other suggestions on this thread then what I suggested is really budget, low effort and it works.

What, you mean you have to clean it? :stuck_out_tongue:

I’ll try that with my fridge, the tray is a pain in the arse to remove and I always forget until next time I grab the milk for a cuppa.

I used to burn newspapers in fridge trailers to get rid of the smell from a load of fish, then I would find a wash out place when the bloke in the fruit packers sent me away because my trailer stank of fish

My top tip for keeping mirrors clear? Never use the heated mirrors. Not really needed, and it just dries the dirt to the mirror. Can’t remember the last time I had to clean the mirrors.

just a little water on one of them microfibre cloth things and elbow grease…

Closest idea i’d agree with. Two microfibres, damp one first, then buff off with dry one. No chemicals needed.
