Overloading will be a common one - it’s amazing how many times you see a 7.5t horsebox advertised for sale as “will carry 3 big horses” when in fact once you put in driver, passenger, tack, hay, water etc. it would probably be overweight even with two decent sized horses.

I would guess they also get a fair few towing trailers that are over the safe towing limits of the towing vehicle, two decent horses in a trailer is going to weigh 2.5t and so you need a decent sized vehicle to tow them safely.

Plus of course these days I bet there are a fair few towing trailers who don’t have their B+E entitlement.
