This would be taken about August '76 shortly after I bought K.Fell & Co and this shot is their A Series with Jennings sleeper conversion , the unit was about two years old and I sold it shortly afterwards. Cheers Bewick.

On a roll this morning…
I persuaded dad that I didn’t want windows in the back of this one, the more insulation the better, and if I remember correctly it was a case of open the passenger door to fold the bed down ,then close the passenger door as the bed wouldn’t fold down with the door closed.
dad also extended a b series day cab to a sleeper by cutting then extending the cabs steel frame , fitting the original rear quarter panels back on and having fibre glass panel s made to fill the gap.shame I’ve only got the single photo of it and it doesn’t really show a side view
we also had another B series day cab with the folding down steel framed bed fitted, which to be honest was very comfortable once you’d actually managed to get your self onto it, and made for a particularly cramped cab.
