Hi Fin,
I’m fine, haven’t bothered going out today,no reason to go,my transits out of MOT until I get it done end of week, and I’m not risking the other until it gets better.Where was the pic taken, trying to recognise the road, but failed.
Cheers Dave.

Hi Fin,
Wouldn’t have thought of either of those, used to travel from Bromyard back through Stoke Lacy once a week a few years back, when I was a CPC holder for KTH,have been across the other road to three gates quite a bit,but haven’t travelled either route in snowy conditions, looked very slippery.
Cheers Dave.
Talkin to a customer whos young son has been taught to drive by stopping with footbrakes not gears i bet the new young drivers wondered what was happen this mornin when they were
nt stoppin when they intened to.

Thats the problem Fin,none of the young drivers have had any experience of driving on snow, the last thing you want to do,is start braking, use the gears, but a lot don’t do that, also they don’t anticipate anything,if they used their head and thought what could be around the bend or that the road has a steep hill, they could slow down and get in a lower gear, also a lot drive to fast and stick their foot down when it starts to spin,at least if you have driven lorries you have a fair idea.
And in your case and mine, tuition of your father, from riding shotgun,as a kid.
Cheers Dave.
Dont get wrong Dave im still learnin , but i
am glad of nipping them few day`s off school way back then

I think we all keep learning when it come’s to driving,I’m in my 60’s and could still learn quite a bit,the thing with snow and ice,it doesn’t matter how much experience you have had,you can still get caught out.
Cheers Dave.
Most importantly Dave, you got pull over an have a cup of tea & a smoke and just reflect for five mins
Good pic Fin,is that on the road that goes back to Tenbury, off the Bromyard to Stourport road
Cheers Dave.
