It is 5 yrs on since this happened, and now she decides to raise money for the hospital and her class 1 licence on the back of it, in 5 yrs from now we will probably see the same but adding a new settee onto the charity, always wanted to give the hospital the cheque whilst sat on a new Parker Knoll!!

Aaahh thank you & I will be here all week. This is no reflection on Trucknet nor is it anything to do with decent posters, you can see right through this one and if you can’t well shame. No disrespect for what she has gone through in the past, a terrible ordeal, but you don’t wait 5 years to try and raise money for the hospital unless of course you want to get your class 1 licence on the back of it. She is playing on her poor husbands ordeal. Also what is she going to do about her daughter whilst she is out for 12 or 15 hour shifts? Come on man open your eyes.

I think theres a few things shes not considered or at least needs to be up front anput including:
As shes raising this to go into her bank account then its income so she’ll have to pay tax on it especially the 5000. I assume this is coming out of her own pocket not the donations?
Does the hospital still get the £4100 if she fails get first test? Or do retests get taken out the money?
Have the hospital agreed to her driving a tractor unit up the driveway? If it was £100K maybe it’d be worth it for them to lay something on, but not sure about 5K.
Is she even using her class 2 licence yet? If not who does she think is going to give ger a job that fits around school hours unless she has some very good nearby family. Does she even have a job currently?
Actually does she have a class 2 licence? She mentions paying for class 2 but not that she ever took lessons or a test.
Entire thing seems too fishy to me with too many get out clauses for her. In fact if she raised enough for class 2, cpc etc (2000k) then why cant she raise £900 for her class 1…hmm. Seen it done too often then everyone forgets about it and they forget to hand it over.
Well she has got 24 days left and has so far raised under £300.00. So it looks highly unlikely that the Hospital is ever going to receive a single penny of the £5000.00 she is asking everyone to give. However the chances are high that she will raise enough to fund herself the class 1 licence. All funded by the gullible and do gooders who are easily hoodwinked. Its just unbelievable how anyone could fall for this.

As I predicted, the hospital would never see a penny of your generosity, only two days left of her “fund raising” and so far the grand total has reached £579.00. My question is, will she pocket the money or give it to the hospital? Will she admit defeat and give the money back? If she’s honest and genuine then hopefully she’ll give what she’s raised to the hospital. Should be donation first then funding her licence if enough left over.
I see her story on the just giving page has been changed by the looks of it.

So if she has indeed saved up and paid for her class 2 and passed her test then she can drive a unit on her C licence so why does she need her C+E.
I have a big problem with most of these just giving go fund me type of website. People are basically begging and using a hard luck story as a means to pull at peoples heart strings and generosity. Everyone has hard luck or strife in life to deal with and the majority do not go begging for money from strangers, they manage and find a way through it the best they can.
Everyone has lost someone they love, people have brought up children on their own etc etc people get on with life and manage without any financial assistance other than benefits if required or by working.
Sorry I don’t buy it and that is most likely the reason it has so far raised nowhere near the amount she was originally asking for.

No I don’t. I whole heartedly agree with you that there are some nasty people on here, but I wouldn’t lose too much sleep over this, it is clearly a scam. I can almost guarantee that this lady knows exactly what she is doing, or rather the lack of what she is doing for the Hospital.
