Slight subject change. I read somewhere on this forum that there are example CPC Module 2 questions floating somewhere on the internet. I’ve had a good google, but can’t find any (I did manage to read what was on the screen on the dsa video on you tube!).
I did and passed both my tests with CTT in Wolverhampton and I found them to be really good. I’m sure IIRC that they do complete packages which include the medical, theory tests and provide everything that you need. I’m also sure that their medicals are £32■■?
TBH, the thing that put me off CTT was the lack of time behind the wheel. 10-12.5 hrs. Their medicals are £32. I got mine done for free though. TBH, I wish I had booked my medical thru them; Posted my app off on the Thursday, got it back on Wednesday just gone, with a letter asking me to get my Dr to answer a couple of missed questions! D’oh! I should’ve known to check, becasue he knew I was there for an HGV medical, then during the consultation, he asked what I was wanting to do■■? Absent minded or what? lol
Anyway, was fortunate enough to get an appointment with him again yesterday, for him to finish the medical form. Posted yesterday.
Fingers crossed, my provisional licence will be back soon.

When I booked my training I, rightly or wrongly, never even asked this question putting my faith in the reputation of the school. I can’t recall how many hours I got although it didn’t seem that many but still had no trouble passing as good instruction is more important IMO than simply sitting behind the wheel.
My drive went really well. Prior to setting off, the instructor explained about the gears, handbrake, mirrors, indicators, etc. Expecting the instructor to be driving most of the journey, he pulled into a layby a couple of hundred yards from his own yard for us to swap seats.
Once I got comfy in the seat, I selected 3rd and away I went. Thought I was going fast enough when I realised I was doing 40km/h and not 40 mph! KMs were on the outer scale of the speedo. Driving through Rugeley and ended up at the power station before turning back to Hednesford (Cannock). The route took in lots of different types of road; tight town areas to fast main roads, and lots of roundabouts! Survived a car pulling out on me, people doing crazy overtaking manoeuvres and a me overtaking a cyclist
I think I did ok for popping my cherry. Didn’t stall it or kerb the real wheels. Only messed the gears up once (4 over 4) which I was fair chuffed about.
Obligatory pic
All in all, a good day, still smiling! Hazard and Theory booked, course starting the day after - no pressure then! Looks like I’ll have to do Modules 2 & 4 post test - but hey ho.

But did the cyclist survive it … that is quite important you know
That’s so over-rated these days, don’t you think? lol
Thanks all. Theory stuff booked for a week tomorrow. Did manage to get my Module 2 booked on the same say in the end, albeit 15 mins less that the 2 hr seperation DSA say to leave between bookings. Luckily, my theory is before my module 2 which should take less than an hour, so should have plenty of time.
